Early 30s drummer with 20ish years behind the kit. Have gigged and recorded extensively at amateur level - although The Click and I are well acquainted, I am not it's bitch. I have my own gear and transport.

Ideally I would like to start/join something from scratch; any guitar, bass, or keys players out there who are interested in being in a band where every voice is allowed their say and expected to say something would be most welcome. I would hope that there would be enough original material to look to professional gigs and recording sales in the long-term, though the most important point to start from is how tight and together the band can sound and whether that is any fun or not.

I like drummers like Jon Fishman, John Bonham, Charlie Watts, John Densmore, Nick Mason, Manu Katche, Tim Alexander, Jimmy Cobb, Philly Joe Jones etc - the kind of band I need is one that wants to play around with the material: play the same songs differently now and again, have the 3 minute album version and the 30 minute live version, do medleys, segue from one track into another, or just jam for the hell of it.
