Denisa is 26 year-old Romanian girl from Timisoara in Romania. She has a pedagogy degree and last year started teaching English to two girls.

She graduated in 2007 the University of Polytechnics with a degree in Electrical and Power Engineering. She is working for an electrical company, but will be made redundant in November.

She wants to come to the UK for a long term because she thinks she will have better opportunities there. She likes working with children and teaching them how to do different things. She would like to be placed in a city or a town, but would accept a village too if is near a town.

Denisa likes to read, to watch movies (comedies and action movies) and to go sightseeing. She was in the USA for 3 months with the Work and Travel programme. She worked in an amusement park and at Mc Donald’s.

She is a non-smoker.

Childcare Experience: Denisa started teaching English to two girls. She began when a friend told her that the girls live in a village and need someone who is prepared to go there once a week. The girls were 7 year old Iasmina and 8 years old Larisa. She did this from September 2008 until June 2009 (with Larisa) and until August 2009 with Iasmina. She brought them work sheets, sung songs with them and tried to teach them English in an interesting and fun way. She enjoyed the experience because she improved her English together with the girls. She is supposed to start again this year, but if she comes to the UK, she will have to let them know they need to find someone else.

English Skills: Her English is excellent. She is talkative and could give an answer to all my questions without problems.

Housework: Denisa is prepared to care for babies, children or older children, undertake light housework (tidying/vacuuming/dusting), laundry and ironing, shopping (Food, Groceries), cooking for children and the family, driving, caring for pets.

Character: Denisa considers that she is sociable, flexible, talkative, tidy, responsible, polite, disciplined and punctual. She likes to learn new things always.

Eating habits: She says she is not picky, she usually eats anything. She has a skin condition that is aggravated by eating spicy food.

Driving: Denisa passed her driving test in 2006 and is driving every day.
