This excellent Co-educational school for pupils aged 4-18 is looking for a year four class teacher for the new school year. The position is open initially for one term with the view of extending in the future. This is a fantastic independent school broken down into three tiers; the Pre-Prep school, Junior school and Senior school. They currently require someone to join the junior school team. The school is based in the delightful Hertfordshire countryside on a 130-acre site. The school caters for both day pupils and boarders and has around 1100 pupils on role.

The school require a qualified KS1 & 2 teacher to teach a year 4 class to cover for a long-term teacher sickness. There are around 430 pupils in the Junior school averaging around 25 pupils per class. Qualified teacher status and experience of working with year four is essential. Standard working hours will be from 9 – 5 with lessons also taking place between 9-12:30 on Saturdays. Willingness to get involved in extra curricular activities and experience of supporting SEN and gifted and talented children is desirable.
