i write lyrics and want to collaborate with a band over songs to have my words sung and make a name for myself.

i am an english graduate, with 20 years of creative writing experience.
i've written 20,000 poems to date. my influences are t s eliot, ted hughes and w b yeats, james joyce. salman rusdie, will self.

these days i have turned to song writing. i'm writing in the vein of lennon-macartney, morrissey, dylan.
the lyrics are intelligent and challenging. sometimes satirical, mostly lyrical and bordering on poetry.
i can pretty much write in most styles to order, on any subject.
i work fast and am prolific.
it takes me on average 20 mins to turn out a new song.

i'm determined to make it as a lyricist. i'd like a trendy soulful young rock band, or other, hungry for commercial and finacial success.
