Science Teacher
** Science to Key Stages 3 and 4
** 1000+ Pupil school on the outskirts of the City
** Well run school with a good Senior Management Team
Required from September; a teacher of Science for a good school on the outer edges of Luton. The successful applicant will teach Science to Key stage 4 within a developing department which is well managed. Experience of teaching in an urban environment would be preferred but is not essential as the school have a good support infrastructure to support all staff. The post is initially for a year but it is envisaged that it will become permanent at some stage over the year.
You will be an energetic and dynamic teacher, who is passionate about delivering Science in an engaging way. In return you will be joining a social and vibrant team that is very supportive. The school is such that teachers who relate well to our pupils generally achieve well and achieve great job satisfaction. We have pupils of all ability but there is great potential within school for all to acheieve well.
The Science department is well managed by an expereinced Head of Department. All teachers within this school are well supported by the Senior Management Team
Luton is a town filled with cultural diversity. It has many leisure and entertainment facilities. Culturally, Luton Town centre has many things to offer. St Mary's Church is a popular place to visit and Bedfordshire University is next door, which is rated 'best in the country' for graduate employment.
