Science Technician – Luton

This high achieving secondary school situated in Luton require a temporary Science Technician to assist their current team. The school has 6 science laboratories and teach all science fields from KS3 to A-level. The main purpose of the position will be to provide support to the Science Teachers and Senior Science Technician.

Responsibilities of the role will include the following;

· Preparation of stock solutions.
· Maintaining glassware in classrooms.
· Preparing practical’s prior to lessons and delivering to the classrooms.
· Setting up practical’s where necessary.
· General up keep of Science Technician laboratory.
· Assisting pupils during lessons if required.

The position is initially available on a temporary basis with the option of being offered a permanent contract if successful. Applicants must have relevant science qualifications and/or experience in the Science Field.
