We are a family who live in a lovely house in Harpenden (in beween St Albans and Luton). We have 1 son who will be 4 in August and 1 placid labrador – and 5 chickens!

We are looking for an experienced au pair to live with us for at least 1 year, who can look after our son before and after school and help out around the house. On most days your routine would be:

0800hrs – take care of our son
0900hrs – drop off at school (Driver preferred)
1200hrs – pick up from School – will be 1500hrs from January
1730hrs – Mother will return home

Some light housework and preparation of lunch and dinner for our son would also be required. Most evenings and weekens will be free

You will have your own double bedroom with TV/DVD and wifi and depending on your experience you will receive between £100/120 per week

Our son is very bright and lots of fun to be with. My husband and I are both professional people, an my husband works on the country estate where the house is situated. Transport to London is very regular and takes around 30 minutes on the train.
