Position : Conference & Banqueting Supervisor

Property Description :
A fantastic 4* - 100 bedroom hotel / training centre close to Ware in Hertfordshire owned by a well renown group that continue to grow due to the quality of their product due to the quality of their staff.
This is a very busy property, particularly at weekends when covers can meet 1000+ inclusive of conferences, weddings, Sunday lunches to 150.
During season there are 4 to 5 weddings per weekend - 20 Meeting rooms with C&B to 200++
If you dont like busy then this will not suit you If you do then this is a great opportunity to work for one of the highest standard hotel groups within the country who are branching out with Conference & Event properties such as this.

Living In Available : YES - £170 per month
Role Description :
* Reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager
* Conference Room & Equipment Set Ups + Clearance
* Banqueting / Wedding set ups and seeing through from start to finish
* Ensure conference/meeting/syndicate rooms are set up and equipped in accordance with customer requirements
* Service rooms at lunch, dinner and any other times requested by customers or as deemed necessary.
* Ensure rooms are always ready for potential customers to be shown.
* Pre-arrival checks, carrying out meet and greet throughout the day with tutors and administration staff.
* Keep in contact with delegates and tutors throughout the day to ensure all of their needs are met promptly, efficiently and in a polite, friendly and professional manner, passing information on to the rest of the team.
* Complying with Health, Safety & Hygiene COSHH HACCP Risk Assessments
* Meeting & exceeding guest expectations at all opportunities
* You will promote the Hotel and its business in a professional manner, whether on or off duty, and communicate all guest comments to your Manager.
* You will be required to attend all appraisals and training as requested and maintain a high level of personal presentation and hygiene.
Experience Required :
Conference & Banqueting experience within hotels or conference centres is required for this position -
You will need to be extremely professional and efficient and be of smart appearance with a confident manner.
