Qualified Tutor offering a course to learn medical terminology. This course will improve your job prospects allowing you to apply for jobs within hospitals/health care field. The course is aimed at:

women returners to work or with children looking to improve their job prospects, looking to learn a new skill while at home with the children.
typists who wish to learn medical terminology to become medical secretaries
people wishing to persue work within a hospital as a receptionist, typist, clinic clerk etc
young adults who are thinking of persuing a career in medicine in order to give them a good stsrt
anyone with a general interest in medicine

Recognised qualification can be taken as and when you are ready.

I will teach you with the aid of powerpoint presentations on your computer and games such a dominos, crosswords, questions and answers, spelling tests etc. Homework given and marked each week.

Requirements for the course are:

A good level of english
An interest in medical terminology
Motivation to put 40 mins home study each day
A commitment to homework etc

Medical terminology consists of prefixes, suffixes and root words and I will go through each system of the body with you. Notes can be transferred to your computer for you to revise and work with.
