My name is James and I have more than 20 enjoyable years of playing and teaching experience. I believe learning an instrument should be fun and enriching.

Lessons focussed on songs and pieces you would like to learn - and the simple techniques needed to play them.

I teach beginner to advanced. Specialising in those coming to music for the first time.

In addition to lead and rhythm guitar I can also assist those who would like to have a go at both singing and playing. I can also help you if you would like to try some of your own song writing, its easier than you might imagine!

Pop and rock, folk, blues and funk, (african! see Paul Simon - Graceland) lead and rhythm - acoustic and electric. I will travel to deliver lessons to you at no extra cost, provided this is within a reasonable distance.

First lesson is free to enable me to assess your requirements. Then £20 per hour £12 half hour. Concessions negotiable for unemployed and students.
