Step Teachers would like to appoint a newly qualified Maths Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in the Welwyn Garden City area. The school are looking for an exceptional newly qualified maths teacher, who has a passion for their vocation and a vision for achievement.

The position is available from January 2010, on a full time permanent basis. The school will also support the successful candidate with their induction year.

The school is a mixed comprehensive with 1200 pupils on roll aged 11-18. Students' behaviour in lessons is good and they work well independently, in pairs and in small groups. The headteacher, with good support from senior leaders, has set a clear and ambitious direction for the school. The school has specialist status as a science college. There is a partner special school on site for hearing impaired students.
