Property Description :

A fantastic 4* - 100 bedroom hotel / training centre close to Ware in Hertfordshire owned by a well renown group that continue to grow due to the quality of their product – due to the quality of their staff.

This is a very busy property, particularly at weekends when covers can meet 1000+ inclusive of conferences, weddings, Sunday lunches to 150.
During season there are 4 to 5 weddings per weekend

If you don’t like busy – then this will not suit you – If you do then this is a great opportunity to work for one of the highest standard hotel groups within the country who are branching out with Conference & Event properties such as this.

Living In Available : YES - £150 per month

Role Description :

•Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager
•Working within all Food & Beverage outlets as required
•Working within a team of 20
•Complying with Health, Safety & Hygiene – COSHH – HACCP Risk Assessments
•Meeting & exceeding guest expectations at all opportunities
•Ensure the correct service of food and drinks according to set standards and maintaining a high level of customer care.
•Ensure all billing and cashing-up procedures are adhered to as well as all company policies and procedures.
•You will promote the Hotel and its business in a professional manner, whether on or off duty, and communicate all guest comments to your Manager.
•You will be required to attend all appraisals and training as requested and maintain a high level of personal presentation and hygiene.

Experience Required :

Experience within hotels or conference centres will be an advantage - BUT if you show the right attitude and determination then you will certainly be considered and training offered

Experience within “volume” catering will certainly be an advantage as this property gets very busy with service coming from many outlets.

You will need to be extremely professional and efficient and be of smart appearance with a confident manner.
